Hilary Bright, Head of HR Services, City College Norwich, BITC regional award winner

HILARY BRIGHT is Head of HR Services at City College Norwich. City College Norwich is a large, well-established college of further and higher education with over 14,000 students, including around 1,500 higher education students. The College has six National Skills Academies, in Creative and Cultural Skills, Enterprise, Financial Services, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Retail. In 2009 the College was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, in recognition of its work with students with Asperger’s syndrome and other autistic spectrum disorders.

Hilary has been instrumental in introducing a range of mechanisms to effectively manage absence, as well as a variety of wellbeing initiatives for staff. Hilary has a long career in Human Resources with experience in both the public and private sectors.
